Our High Pressure Laminate Surfaces are made with 1.125" thick solid particle board. Both the top and bottom are pressed with HPL. We utilize 3mm edge banding around the entire perimeter of the surface.
Machine screws that screw into the threaded inserts are included with Apex two leg, Apex Pro, and Peak Pro frames.
Wood screws that can be used on the pre-drilled pilot holes are included with Peak two leg frames.
Our tops are handmade in Michigan and built to last. A quick note on what to expect when yours arrives:
The underside — the surface that sits on your frame — is a handling surface, not a finished face. Think of it the way an automaker treats the underside of a car: fully functional, but held to a different standard than the surfaces you see every day. Minor marks or scuffs on the underside are expected and don't indicate a defect.
The top surface is what we stand behind completely. Any cosmetic issue there and we'll make it right, no questions asked."
